The Isle of Arran is reached from Ardrossan on the Ayrshire coast, with regular sailings every day by Cal - Mac ferry. A smaller ferry also sails to Lochranza at the North end of the Island from Claonaig on Kintyre.
If travelling by car, booking is highly advisable on the Ardrossan / Brodick route during the summer.
